Lindsay Moffitt

I’ve been in the insurance industry for seven years, and I got my start in claims. These days, if it involves transportation, you can bet I have a hand in it. My dad is a trucker, so my love for transportation runs deep! I help with quoting available markets, binding accounts, managing endorsements, service, billing, and even a few certificates.

What I love most about my job is the people I work with. Having a team that can step in and help makes even the most stressful situations run smoothly.

I was born in Kentucky and moved to North Carolina when I was 14. I’ve lived in the Thomasville/Lexington area most of my life, and it truly feels like home. My husband and I have two daughters, and we work together in the transportation department. We also have four cats — Jinx, Ponyo, Armin, and Simba — who keep things interesting.

When I’m not working, I love to read. Get me lost in a good book, and I’m hooked for hours. I also love to cook because there’s something so comforting about ending the day with a meal made with love.
