About Darion

Success means finding ways to reduce my client’s costs by providing the tools and resources that they didn't know were available to them. I’ve worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, starting my career with Oasis Insurance Agency in 1992 as a personal lines agent. Since 1994, I’ve been at Leavitt Insurance (with a small detour in 2012 at another agency) where I’ve worked in personal and commercial lines. Currently, my focus is on commercial lines, focusing on transportation, contractors, commercial property, and professional liability.

I believe that with my years of experience and background as a generalist writing all lines of commercial insurance, it gives me a unique and real world understanding of exactly what my clients need. With our team approach, I can include risk management, HR services, and claims advocacy that go far beyond the typical relationship that exists between client and broker.

It's important to understand the needs of each client and what’s important to them, so my team and I can tailor a specific program based around those specific needs. Ultimately, I see myself as part of my client’s team, with my role being to focus on their overall long-term profitability.

I grew up in Las Vegas and have one amazing and beautiful daughter. I love all sports, including Football and my team the Raiders since 1978, who now call Las Vegas home. My other hobbies include golfing, reading, and hanging out with friends, family, and clients.

I enjoy being part of an organization with a great reputation, a growing national presence, and a long-standing presence in our local community. I love the fact that when I call on a potential client, most often they already know who we are and what we do.
