About Lydia

Lydia Murphy is a producer for Leavitt Insurance Agency. She focuses on construction, gaming and hospitality operations, convenience stores, restaurants and bars, manufacturing, trucking and logistics, and large developers. She is very knowledgeable in all scopes of coverage.

Lydia began her distinguished career at Leavitt Insurance Agency as an account executive in 2002, and is now one of Leavitt Group’s top insurance producers. She has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, providing a strong foundation of client relationships.

Prior to Leavitt Group, Lydia held the positions of agency manager and commercial account executive for Absolute Insurance and Nevada territory sales manager for Prudential Insurance.

Lydia holds the Registered Workers Compensation Specialist (RWCS), Certified Insurance Specialist for Construction (CISC), Construction Risk Insurance Specialists (CRIS), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designations. These accreditations allow Lydia to help clients significantly enhance their risk management programs and provide insurance solutions to improve overall safety and cost reduction.

    Recognizing the importance of giving back to her community, Lydia served as an executive board member of Young Philanthropic Society of the United Way. She is committed to helping children with special needs through her support of the Lili Claire Foundation and by serving as a board member since 2009.

    Lydia raised four children, and is the proud grandmother of five grandchildren.
