About Shelia

Before working as a personal insurance account manager with Leavitt Group Midwest, I worked as an agency owner, an agent, and a manager. Most of my experience has been in Ohio, but I have also worked in New Mexico and Tennessee. I enjoy helping clients across the U.S. find personal insurance that works for them. From auto and home insurance to recreational product insurance to vacation home insurance, I go the extra mile for my clients and give recommendations that will benefit them the most.

My life motto is, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” I do my best to live by this motto and have been involved in organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Ronald McDonald House, Relay for Life, and Habitat for Humanity.

I was born and raised in Texas, but became an Ohio transplant in 1998, when I began my insurance career. My baby is my 10-year-old English Sheepdog named Ruby. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and taking Ruby on adventures. I also enjoy music, movies, being a Broadway fanatic, and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes! GO BUCKS!
