Daniel Lavinder

As a commercial insurance advisor, I help my clients address the things that keep them up at night and the potential problems they’re sleeping on that could derail their business. I bring clients a unique perspective. By applying strategies I learned in the large insurance brokerage world, I’m able to offer better options that small to medium-sized businesses typically wouldn’t have access to. 

I began my career in the insurance industry in 2009, focusing primarily on restaurants, hospitality businesses, and food and beverage companies. From there, I branched out and gained experience in crop insurance as well as the wood product and agribusiness industries.

I grew up on a 26-acre Morgan horse ranch in Grass Valley, California, and later attended Oregon Tech. I also hold an Oregon property and casualty insurance license. 

My wife and I are parents to four great kids: three sons and a stepdaughter. One of my favorite things to do is take my family out on our MB Tomcat wake boat to wake surf and wakeboard. I also enjoy golfing, staying fit, and attending country music concerts.
