About Scot
Scot is a co-owner of both North Cascade Insurance and Anacortes Marine Insurance, working out of our Anacortes office location. Born and raised in the Skagit Valley, Scot has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington. He lives in Burlington and has two children, one a recent graduate of B-EHS (third generation) and the other still in high school.
After a short stint chasing his childhood “sports broadcasting” dream after college, Scot settled into a career with one of the largest wineries in the world for over 15 years. In 2009, he decided to move back to his hometown to raise his family, and began his career at the Mount Vernon location of what is now North Cascade Insurance. He has co-owned/managed our Anacortes location since 2012.
Scot is on the football coaching staff at Burlington-Edison High, is a longtime Rotarian (including a year as president of the Burlington Mid-day Club), and serves as a board member on the Burlington-Edison Alumni Foundation.
