About Josh

My family opened Stafford & Stafford Insurance Services in 2003, and I began managing the day-to-day operations in 2011. My goal was to grow my family's agency, so we acquired more agencies to widen our client reach throughout the state, focused on educating our clients, and built a reputation we are proud of. In 2019, we took the next step and affiliated with Leavitt Group because of the positive impact they would have on our employees and clients.

As Agency Managing Partner, I primarily focus on the oversight of our three locations, ensuring we are operating smoothly and providing our clients with constant support. However, I started with the agency as an insurance advisor, earning my Associate of Insurance Production (AIP) designation in 2012 and received the Missouri Young Agent of the Year Award in 2017. Although I’ve stepped back from my duties as an agent, I still find enjoyment in client education and working alongside our employees.

I am a life-long resident of Harrisonville, Missouri and believe in strong roots and contributing back to the betterment of my community. I am a current member of city and state organizations such as the local National Wild Turkey Federation, Elks Lodge, and the Columbia Insurance Group Agency Council. I previously served on the Board of Alderman for the city of Harrisonville, Harrisonville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. This area exhibits a great mix of small-town rural life as well as suburban development, it’s the heartland of America at its core.

My wife and I have been married for over 10 years and she is my greatest gift. We have an amazing daughter, and our family recently adopted a boxer named Bruno, who joins me in the office each day.

My adoration for sports knows no boundaries or preferences; you can find me at a dirt track most weekends in the summer or watching a Kansas City Chiefs game in the fall. A fun fact about me is I love finding useless information and learning about it, so pick an obscure topic and let's chat.
