I got my insurance license in 1998, and I’ve worn a lot of hats in this industry. I currently serve as the team lead in our Statesville office, where I write and service our clients’ insurance needs.

My favorite part of the job is standing up for my clients when things don’t go as planned. When a claim goes south, I’ll fight tooth and nail to make sure they get the coverage they’ve paid for. There’s nothing better than hearing the surprise (and gratitude!) in a client’s voice when they realize I’m truly in their corner.

I grew up in New Jersey, but North Carolina has been home for quite a while. I’ve been married for over 20 years, and I’m a proud mom to my 20-year-old. I can honestly say I raised my best friend, and that’s a pretty amazing feeling.

Outside of work, I’m usually in the kitchen or on the yoga mat. I love to bake — my carrot cake has been known to win hearts — and I practice yoga every day to keep the aches and pains at bay.
